About APFCompliant

How we keep businesses compliant

APFCompliant (APFC) is an independent compliance assessment and remediation firm specializing in website privacy, accessibility, and video privacy rights. We combine automated scanning technology with expert remediation to help businesses identify and fix compliance gaps before they become legal liabilities.

We work with businesses of all sizes — from single-location service providers to multi-site enterprises — across healthcare, hospitality, retail, professional services, and more.

Our Methodology

Scan-verified compliance, not guesswork

Every assessment we deliver is backed by automated scanning technology, not manual checklists. Our methodology is designed to produce evidence-grade findings that stand up to scrutiny.

Automated Detection

Our scanning engine checks your website against known violation patterns across three areas of law: CIPA (California Invasion of Privacy Act), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and VPPA (Video Privacy Protection Act). We detect tracking pixels from 11+ advertising and analytics providers, evaluate WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility compliance, and identify video privacy violations — all automatically.

Evidence Integrity

Every finding is supported by verifiable evidence. Our system captures full-page screenshots, network request logs, cookie inventories, and source code snapshots. All evidence is hashed with SHA-256 cryptographic verification to ensure integrity. Evidence archives include chain-of-custody documentation for legal admissibility.

Continuous Monitoring

Compliance isn't a one-time fix. Websites change constantly — CMS updates, new marketing tags, plugin changes, and content updates can reintroduce violations at any time. Our monitoring system runs daily automated scans and alerts you immediately when new issues appear, so you can fix them before they become liabilities.

Coverage

Three areas of compliance, one assessment

CIPA

Privacy Compliance

California's Invasion of Privacy Act prohibits intercepting or recording private communications without consent. We detect tracking pixels, analytics cookies, and advertising technologies that fire before user consent is obtained — the most common source of CIPA violations for business websites.

ADA

Accessibility Compliance

The Americans with Disabilities Act requires websites to be accessible to people with disabilities. We assess against WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, checking for missing alt text, poor color contrast, broken keyboard navigation, missing form labels, and improper heading structure.

VPPA

Video Privacy

The Video Privacy Protection Act prohibits disclosure of video viewing records without consent. When tracking pixels are active on pages with embedded video content, they can transmit viewing activity data to third parties — creating VPPA liability. We detect these combinations automatically.

Standards

Aligned with recognized standards

Our assessment methodology is aligned with established federal and industry standards. We don't invent our own criteria — we apply the same standards that regulators, auditors, and courts reference.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA
NIST Privacy Framework
CIPA — Cal. Penal Code § 630
ADA Title III — 42 U.S.C. § 12182
VPPA — 18 U.S.C. § 2710
